artcrunch
Artcrunch is a platform for emerging artists and graduates to showcase their work; finding alternative or disused spaces and transforming them into temporary art galleries.
Set-up by two University of the Arts London graduates in 2009 in response to the lack of opportunities for artists marked by the current economic climate. This project aims to prove how versatile art can be in times of recession; creativity compensating for lack of cash; by responding in a constructive, and positive way to the crisis.
The shows involve multidisciplinary work from innovative contemporary artists, who exhibit alongside a renowned guest practitioner. For each Artcrunch show an honorary guest exhibitor is invited to take part, bringing publicity and experience to the projects and in return gets the chance to collaborate with new talent.

Places are secured for free or for a minimum fee (covering general costs). Artcrunch is a not-for-profit organization that supports the equal opportunities policy.
Shows curated by India Roper-Evans and Susana Sanroman.
